Charity Puppy Yoga

Join us at Lumeria Yoga for a heartwarming and joyful event, Puppy Yoga for Charity, in collaboration with the Bali Animal Welfare Association (BAWA). This special event supports BAWA’s efforts in rescuing street dogs, providing them with medication and food, and relocating new homes for these adorable puppies.

Enjoy a gentle yoga session guided by Michelle Bäcker, surrounded by playful and loving puppies from BAWA. This unique experience includes time for puppy cuddles and playtime during and after the class. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax, have fun, and support a worthy cause.

Michelle Bäcker

Michelle is an experienced 500Hr Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Instructor. Michelle discovered yoga as holistic remedy to balance life in a stressful western world. For her, yoga creates a safe space with no expectations, no past, no future, just to be, here now. Her philosophy and vision is for yoga to be an approachable tool for individual growth and self-exploration, inspiring others to discover and uncover new aspects of themselves in a supportive space and accompanying them on their journey to self-discovery.


BAWA is a registered non-profit and 501(c)3 who’s mission is to put compassion into action and create sustainable change for Bali’s animals. They envision a Bali in which each village is its own natural sanctuary for animals; where all animals are routinely vaccinated, healthy, cared for, and treated with compassion and respect, and the population is controlled at a manageable and sustainable level.
